Frequently Asked Questions

Does my business need a recycling program?
Let us take a look and we'll help you answer that question. We can look at your waste stream and identify if there are things that you could be recycling. Call 970-493-7478 and one of our representatives will come out and do a free evaluation.

What type of documents should be destroyed?
With increased regulatory requirements it is becoming increasingly important to destroy all documents that are not on a permanent retention schedule (click here for records retention schedule). This includes office correspondence, tax records, invoices, purchase orders, visitor logs and employee training records.

What is the advantage of off site shredding?
Off-site shredding is a convenient, cost effective way to securely dispose of old documents and other paper products. Our licensed and bonded drivers pick up all of your paper waste and transport it to our shredding facility where it is destroyed at a much lower cost than is possible for on-site destruction. You are given a certificate of destruction with every load.

Do we need to remove bindings, fasteners, paper clips, staples, etc?
No, no preparation of waste paper is necessary.

How much paper can you pick up to shred?
Any amount that you have! No job is too large or small. We can empty an entire warehouse of documents if needed.

Do you recycling old electronics equipment?
Yes! We handle all sorts of old electronic equipment.

Do you accept plastics, cans, metals, bottles, etc.?
Yes! There is a charge for disposal of electronics equipment. Please call for quote.

Is this something I can recycle?
You'd be surprised how many times we get asked that question. The answer is usually "Let us find out!" We will take your product and send it to some of the different recycling mills we work with around the country. We've found solutions for all sorts of items that customers thought couldn't be recycled. If you're throwing large quantities of an item away, give us a call and see if we can help.
